During the occasion, which included fans and Jack Antonoff, one of the album's producers, she took the opportunity to perform "Slim Pickins," an unreleased track from the project, further increasing fans' excitement.

This Wednesday (7th), the singer was nominated in six categories at the MTV VMAs, including "Artist of the Year," "Song of the Year" ("Espresso"), "Best Direction" (Please Please Please), "Best Pop," "Best Editing" ("Espresso"), and "Best Art Direction" ("Please Please Please"). Voting, which ends on August 30th, is open to the public through the award's official website, and the ceremony will be broadcast live on September 10th.
Besides "Espresso," "Please Please Please" has already become one of the album's hits. On the radio, the single, created in collaboration with GRAMMY®-winning collaborators Jack Antonoff and Amy Allen, is approaching the Top 5 on the U.S. Top 40 charts, rising to the #6 position and nearing the Top 10 on U.S. radio overall.
