Both the track and the video are being met with excitement from fans and are also attracting listeners outside of the usual K-pop sphere. “JUMP” showcases a fresh direction for BLACKPINK, blending Europop elements with their signature style. While Europop experienced a major revival in 2024, it’s still uncommon in the Asian music scene, making BLACKPINK’s new sound even more distinctive.
